Support your users in making sense of long texts, faster. Starting in Chrome 131, you can sign up for the Summarizer API origin trial that runs until Chrome 136. Learn more about how to use the Summarizer API.
If you're new to origin trials, these are time-limited programs that offer early access to experimental platform features. While there may be usage limits, developers can integrate these features for live testing, gathering user feedback, with the goal of informing future iterations of the API.
We are seeking to standardize this API for broad availability. Read about the standardization effort with the W3C Technical Architecture Group.
