EmbedRequest

Properties

  • allow
    function

    Allows the embedding request.

    The allow function looks like this:

    allow(url: string) => {...}
    • url
      string

      Specifies the content to be embedded.

  • data
    object

    Optional developer specified data that the app to be embedded can use when making an embedding decision.

  • deny
    function

    Prevents the embedding request.

    The deny function looks like this:

    deny() => {...}
  • embedderId
    string

    The ID of the app that sent the embedding request.

Methods

connect

chrome.appviewTag.connect(app: string, data: any, callback: function)

Requests another app to be embedded.

Parameters

  • app
    string

    The extension id of the app to be embedded.

  • data
    any

    Optional developer specified data that the app to be embedded can use when making an embedding decision.

  • callback
    function

    An optional function that's called after the embedding request is completed.

    The callback parameter should be a function that looks like this:

    (success: boolean) => {...}
    • success
      boolean

      True if the embedding request succeded.
